A sunny day back in 2004, we were munching oranges in the garden outside our office. The building hadn’t seen paint for 20 years and had funky green 1940’s style tiles in the bathroom, but we loved it. We were discussing metrics for a mobile service that we had launched for the mobile operator 3 a couple of months earlier. Over one hundred thousand page views per month in Sweden. That’s when we realized we were on to something.

A couple of years later, like a hundred mobile services later, co-ops with Adobe (who liked to introduce us as the guys with the really funky green toilets), plans to rule the world of mobile advertising, projects in places like Malaysia and South Africa, running flash banners on mobile sites back in 2005, building device databases and taming unruly devices, setting up redundant hosting services for mobile sites, came – The iPhone.

We had two services ready for the European iPhone launch, in the middle of the hot summer of ’08. They we’re both web apps but shortly thereafter we were finally allowed into the (then) exclusive club of iOS developers and could start in earnest by making native apps. More than 40 iPhone, Android, Bada and iPad projects, and thousands of mobile strategy-, workshop- and presentation hours later we’re now a tribe of 55.

We hang out in THE hottest borough in Stockholm called Hornstull (aka Knivsöder – Google that if you’re curious).
